Tanner Roman is possibly the most talented and versatile member of the VNY Entertainment team. Tanner is one of the few who is born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee. Tanner began his musical career performing on several different musical instruments, including the guitar. He then transformed that experience into an undergraduate degree in Audio Engineering from Belmont University. However, things took an interesting turn after college. Tanner began offering services not only in audio, but also in video and photo. Due to his experience, Tanner is invaluable to have on the team, as he understands not only his role, but the bigger picture of everyone involved, including vendors and guests. Tanner has caught the attention of professionals worldwide, and as a result, he is frequently utilized by wedding bands, original artists, companies, and more.
Tanner works at a pace that seems faster than the blink of an eye. He possesses a monstrous work ethic, global perspective, dedication, and proficiency in his work. Tanner is frequently utilized as an audio engineer, which is a vital piece to the VNY Entertainment team and its events.
While it is important to have quality musicians and DJ’s involved, it is also just as important to have a professional and capable audio engineer onboard. Eric Uplinger is an amazingly talented audio engineer, musician, and music producer based in Nashville, Tennessee. Originally from Pennsylvania, Eric moved to Nashville to complete an undergraduate degree in Audio Engineering from Belmont University. Eric continues on his path as a professional engineer through his private home recording studio and providing live sound at various events, including VNY Entertainment's performances.
Eric is often one of the men monitoring the Mobile PA System for certain Baraats, ensuring the sound is audible and clear during wedding ceremonies, and of course, balancing the sounds of live musicians and DJ’s to the preference of the audience during receptions. However, the best part about Eric is his positivity, his level-headedness, and diligent work ethic to make sure everything is done at the highest quality possible.

Originally hailing from Delaware, Ariel McFall has spent her lifetime honing her voice. Ariel grew up singing in many different ensembles, and her skills brought her to Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee. It was there that she completed a degree in Commercial Voice and continued performing professionally all over the United States. Ariel has since become proficient in singing multiple styles of music including Pop, Blues, R&B, Rock, and more. Ariel now calls New York City home, and she is continuing her professional craft performing for musical artists as well as singing for weddings and events. Ariel is frequently involved with VNY Entertainment in a variety of ensembles including during the Cocktail Hour, Wedding Ceremony, and the Wedding Reception groups..
Joel Heumann, also known as Pop Artist J. Human, is an incredible singer, songwriter, and artist, born in England and raised in Nashville, Tennessee. Joel, whose father Fred is also a professional musician and singer, has music genes running through his blood. Joel starting garnering attention from Nashville music professionals at a young age. His skills took him to Belmont University for a degree in Commercial Voice. Joel has continued his professional career as a signed professional songwriter as well as through his J. Human projects.
Joel is often called upon as a male singer for VNY Entertainment’s wedding receptions, cocktail hours, and more. His smooth and powerful tenor/baritone voice is perfect for enhancing the musical experience of guests and musicians alike.
Electric guitar is an important instrument in the world of weddings and events. Guitar requires dedication, technical proficiency and true musicianship to bring out the perfect sound for the perfect occasion. Carleton Coggins is an example of this kind of guitarist. Whether he is supporting Country, Pop, Rock, Blues, or any other musical genre, Carleton is relied upon for taking the time necessary to create the perfect guitar tone for each and every song.
Carleton has supported multiple musical artists, including Logan Brill, MamaDear, and more. Carleton is frequently involved with the wedding and reception bands on the VNY Entertainment team.
Greg Breal is an incredibly accomplished vocalist with a rare and impeccable vocal tone. Greg has studied multiple genres of music throughout his musical career, and he continues to draw the attention of many. Greg received international acclaim while studying Commercial Voice at Belmont University. He was chosen as the best solo vocalist at the ICCI International A Capella Competition with his group, the Beltones. Greg has continued his vocal prowess throughout his years in Nashville, Tennessee. He continues to wow audiences in the worlds of jazz, pop, rock, R&B, and more! Greg is frequently involved with the VNY Entertainment team during cocktail hours, wedding receptions, and more.
Anson Hohne is a drummer, composer, and songwriter living in Nashville, Tennessee. As a drummer, Anson has performed and recorded with countless groups across the country, including Flossie Dukeshire, Ben Rice, Dylan Leblanc, The Pollies, Jimmy Hall, Resting Rooster, and Mike Duncan. Anson is one of the percussionists in the VNY Entertainment Baraat Band, and he is also utilized in a multi-instrumental role. He was the staff drummer for The First United Methodist Church in Tullahoma, Tennessee for three years and served as an assistant drum instructor for the Tullahoma High School Band for four years. Anson currently performs under his own name as well as with jazz guitarist Ben Rice, The Freedom Coalition, and Flossie Dukeshire.
Ryan Connors is truly a once in a generation type of musician. Originally from the Northeastern United States, Ryan practiced his talent from a young age. Ryan's musical abilities brought him to West Chester University, where he completed a Bachelor's Degree in classical percussion. Ryan then decided to move to Nashville, Tennessee to complete a Master's degree from Belmont University in Commercial Piano Performance.
Ryan is the band leader/producer for the nationally touring musical group Dynamo. Since the group’s formation in 2013, Dynamo has released two albums and earned two Nashville Industry Music Awards (NIMA’s). He is an active producer not only with Dynamo, but also with a wide variety of artists in the Nashville area. As a freelance pianist/arranger, Ryan serves as music director for several artists in Nashville including Melinda Doolittle.
Due to his diverse musicial abilities, Ryan is frequently utilized with the VNY Entertainment team in virtually all types of events, including the Cocktail Hour, Wedding Ceremony, Wedding Reception, and more.
With a desire to pursue a career in music, and a dedication to his craft, Ross McReynolds arrived in Nashville in early 2012. As the city and its music grew, so did Ross. A drummer for nearly his entire life, Ross’s talent and technique garnered attention quickly from many musicians and artists. A young but dedicated musician, Ross is undoubtedly becoming a distinct voice in the New Nashville Scene, as well as a drummer and percussionist with the VNY Entertainment team.
A recent 2015 graduate of Belmont University, the Southern Illinois native has begun to make a career in music. While traveling with several different groups, Ross has toured both nationally and abroad; opening for acts such as: The Zac Brown Band, Sting, Santana, George Benson, and Gary Clark Jr, to name a few.
When at home in Nashville, Ross is busy working as a studio musician, lending his versatile skill set to artists of many genres. From R&B to Folk, Jazz to Rock, Ross’s adaptable yet unique voice compliments and enhances the work of many Nashville musicians.
Katherine Hill is a Celtic harpist with repertoire including classical, pop, romantic, and folk music. Having been playing the harp for nearly 20 years, she has developed a unique style that delights audiences of all ages. Her versatile skill creates perfect ambiance music or an entertaining musical feature. In addition to performing traditional music, Katherine possesses an uncanny ability to re-arrange a popular song for harp, which often provides an astounding and crowd-pleasing experience. Katherine regularly performs with VNY Entertainment for wedding ceremonies, rehearsal dinners, and more.
Emmanuel Echem is a trumpeter, composer, and arranger living and working in Nashville, TN. A native to the area, Echem completed his B.M. in Commercial Music and Music Technology at Belmont University, and has since then firmly established himself as a capable lead and section horn player, as well as an adept soloist with a unique and soulful improvisational style. Emmanuel's style frequently draws comparisons to trumpet masters such as Clifford Brown, Freddie Hubbard, and Roy Hargrove. His performance and recording credits include Joss Stone, the Gaither Vocal Band, Dumpstaphunk, Rayvon Owen, Dan + Shay, Jeff Coffin, Dynamo, Wayne Bergeron, The Weeks, Wycliffe Gordon, Frankie Negrón, John Clayton, Keb' Mo', La Sonora Dinamita, the Neal Morse Band ft. Mike Portnoy, Roy "Futureman" Wooten and the Circle of Harmony Orchestra, and the Nashville Jazz Orchestra, among many others. Emmanuel's amazing melodic capabilities and unique improvisational style is guaranteed to keep your audience engaged and excited.
Since the age of 7, Dan Kozlowski has been hooked on music. It all started when he formed a band with his best friend. Dan started taking music lessons and the rest, as they say, is history. Over the course of his career, Dan has cultivated skill sets not only behind the drumset, but also in Orchestral and Chamber Music, having his Bachelor's in Percussion Performance and Music Theory, as well as a Master's in Percussion Performance.
Since he has been working as a professional musician in Nashville, Dan has worked with artists and organizations including Gabe Burdulis, Gracie and the Valley, John Miller, Natalie Spiroff, Studio Tenn, and the Nashville Ballet.
Dan continues to utilize his versatile skill set in multiple forms with the VNY Entertainment team, including percussion with the Baraat Band, drumset for other events, and more.
Garrett is a violinist, film composer, and music producer, originating from Arkansas. Garrett Overcash began his career in the music industry in Nashville and has performed with artists such as Ray Price, Chris Tomlin, and Matt Redman, and others. After plying his trade in Nashville, Garrett moved to Seattle, WA in 2011 to pursue film and game composition, music production, and performing. Since moving to Seattle, he has written, produced, and recorded for a variety of clients such as the Pacific Northwest Ballet, SMART Technologies, Schell Games, and many more. Garrett currently works at Hevanti Productions as an executive producer, composer, and songwriter. He graduated from Belmont University in 2011 with a Bachelors of Music with an emphasis in Music Technology. He also won Belmont University's Classical Performer's Competition in 2009, getting the opportunity to perform as a soloist with the Belmont University Symphony Orchestra. In 2014, he graduated from the Pacific Northwest Film Scoring Program with a Masters of Music in Film Composition studying with composer, Hummie Mann.
Garrett is a go-to musician for adding emotional brilliance to your event. He possesses a unique skill- the ability to properly perform music from multiple cultures around the world, including American Music, Indian Music, Irish Celtic Music, and more. Whether it is his heart wrenching violin as a bride walks down the aisle, joyful string ensemble music to pair with your cocktail hour, or anything else, Garrett adds an irreplaceable richness and decadence to your music that you never thought you could experience in person.
Alec is this generation's best example of being a true student of all music. Born and raised in Ocean City, New Jersey, Alec spent time alongside his talented parents learning how to play several instruments, including the trombone, upright bass, and electric bass guitar. Alec spent his undergraduate collegiate years at Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee. It was during these years that he began to be called upon for multiple musical genres including Jazz, Indian Classical Music, Indian Garba Music, Bollywood, R&B, Pop, Country, Bluegrass, and more. Alec's versatile musical ear allows him to play exactly what one needs him to, or if the situation requires for it, he will also wow audiences with his unique ability to improvise and make his bass sing.
Alec continues to be called upon by several original musical artists, including Kelsey Waldon, MamaDear, and many more. Alec is a highly sought after musician, and spends some of his time contributing to the VNY Entertainment team's efforts.
Nate Felty is an experienced live and session drummer who enjoys performing a wide range of musical styles. Nate completed his BA in 2012 from the State University of New York (SUNY) College at Oswego, where he studied jazz drum set and Latin Percussion with Dr. Eric Schmitz. In 2014, he completed his MM in Commercial Drum Set from Belmont University in May, 2014, studying with Chester Thompson and Todd London.
Nate has performed with various musical groups of several genres, including Dynamo, LoganBrill, Josh Gracin, Marquee Mayfield, Roy Agee (Prince), Jeff Coffin (Dave Matthews Band), and more In addition to touring, the group actively promotes music education, organizing and conducting music clinics in grade schools and colleges throughout the country. Nate brings music to life with VNY Entertainment in the Baraat Band, Cocktail Hours, and Wedding Reception formats, to name a few.
Adam Hohne is originally from Tullahoma, Tennessee. He spent much of his childhood involved in various musical activities including marching band, concert band, and more. It is very difficult to find an accomplished professional musician in the area of tuba and sousaphone. Adam has achieved proficiency in these instruments through years of training, performing, and conducting music of various styles. When the sousaphone is powering through the musical ensemble, the music immediately feels more full, energetic and exciting. Adam achieved an undergraduate degree in Music Education from Belmont University. He then became the Band Director and Shelby Middle School in Shelby, North Carolina. Adam has grown into an incredible music educator as well as performer. His well-rounded skill set is very valued when he adds his incredible low brass sound to the VNY Entertainment Baraat Band.
Zach Witcher is one of a kind. Zach is originally from Seven Springs, NC and he has been living in Nashville, Tennessee since 2009. Zach has had an impeccable musical ear since he was a young child. He took his natural talent to Belmont University for a professional music degree. After finishing his undergraduate degree, Zach has continued to make his living from performing live music and recording music in studio sessions. Zachariah has spent the time necessary to study and perform multiple genres of music, including Pop, Country, R&B, Soul, Gospel, Funk, Jazz, and Jazz Fusion. Zach is currently performing with several original musical artists, including Dynamo, Muddy Magnolias, Stephcynie, Bryce Merritt, Katie Pruitt, and Jess Nolan.
Zach’s approach to bass playing is exactly what one needs when performing a variety of musical genres to accommodate weddings and private events. He is most known for his ability to almost single-handedly get everyone dancing with a little more energy, excitement, and fun, through his jaw dropping melodies and bass lines. Zach is an invaluable addition to the VNY Entertainment team.
Originally hailing from Manassas, Virginia, RJ Walker has called Nashville home for nearly two decades. RJ has been turning heads for as long as anyone can remember. He is incredibly multi-talented: drumset, drum programming, Baraat percussion, live music tracking, music producing, and more. From the moment he strikes a drum, it is evident that RJ is one of a kind. He provides energy, finesse, groove, and musicality in a way that only results in the listener's enjoyment and satisfaction. RJ has taken his time studying at Belmont University for music and music technology and evolved it into a professional music career. RJ is in many ways the spirit and lightheartedness of the VNY Entertainment team. He also possesses several years of experience in the Wedding and Events Industry. In addition to supporting VNY Entertainment, RJ has performed and recorded with various artists including Cameron Bedell, Rayvon Owen, Chris August, new Nashville R&B group FM Music, and many, many more.
Ever since his early days performing with renowned rap/funk group Biscuits and Gravy, Wesley Winfrey has been wowing audiences around the world. Wesley possesses a degree in Commercial Music and Music Technology from Belmont University. He has a vast amount of musical experience, ranging from small group jazz, big band jazz, funk, R&B, blues, Indian music, and more. His style of playing saxophone adds an incredible amount of soul to any form of music, and it is hypnotizing to witness. Wesley has performed on cruise ships, in large venues, in small clubs, and everywhere in between.

Joshua Blaylock is a crowd favorite, and a favorite amongst peers. Joshua has an amazing musical ear- whether he is playing the trombone or anything else, Joshua can quickly pick up on a musical moment and enhance with a quick response time. A skill set like his is sorely needed in the entertainment business. After all, one must adjust his musical creativity as the crowd changes dynamically throughout an event. Joshua brings a warm and welcoming positive spirit to every musical group that is lucky enough to have him on board, including VNY Entertainment.
Joshua completed a degree in commercial music performance and music technology from Belmont University. While at Belmont University, he also helped form the Nashville supergroup Dynamo, and he has been garnering attention from important industry peers for years. Joshua also possesses skills in electronic drum recording, music composition, arranging, and more.
Jesse Strauss, a percussionist and graduate of Belmont University, specializes in chamber music and improvised music for dance. As an accompanist and performer, he has worked with Nashville based dance companies Epiphany, FALL Dance, Belmont University Dept. of Dance, and Tennessee’s Governor School for the Arts. His experience in these settings focuses heavily on improvisation with hand drums, synthesizers, sound processing, and drones. Jesse is the regular percussionist for chatterbird, a contemporary classical ensemble that performs new music from around the country and local music with Nashville songwriters and instrumentalists. He has performed solo and chamber music at TEDx Nashville, the Nashville Sideshow Fringe Festival, OZ Arts, Chosen Vale Percussion seminar, Leigh Howard Stevens Marimba seminar, Ijams Nature Center in Knoxville, Princeton’s Unruly Sounds festival, and the Pittsburgh New Music Festival.
In addition to his heavy involvement around the Nashville Arts community, Jesse also contributes to the VNY Entertainment team in a variety of ways. He is best known for his infectious smile while playing one of many percussion instruments alongside the Baraat Band.
College Station, TX
Shyam Murali, an avid music lover, started his piano & started Indian Classical Carnatic music vocal training at an early age. He was introduced to playing the saxophone in 6th grade and was ably coached by Late Mrs. Indu Krishnamurthy to play Carnatic music. Under her guidance, he had his formal arangetram in October 2005. He continued his training under Dr. Kadri Gopalnath, Flute Shashank, and Mr. Prasant Radhakrishnan. Shyam has played in the Chennai music festival for two seasons with TV relays on Kalaingar TV and Raj TV. He has provided music for nearly a hundred weddings across the country and plays regularly at important temple festivals. Shyam also enjoys DJing, recording live music, and backpacking. He is currently also studying to become a professional in the field of Emergency Medicine.
Shyam has performed with the VNY Entertainment team in the realm of Baraats, Wedding Ceremonies, Cocktail Hours, and Wedding Reception. His wide array of talents is frequently called upon to enhance the quality of all sorts of events.
It was on a front porch just four years ago that Kelly Bradway, Dan Wilson, and Parker Bradway formed the country music trio they now call MamaDear—named after a lovely lady with the loveliest porch in Tennessee. Since then, they have aspired to treat every stage like it's their porch and every fan like a friend while playing shows across America and opening for acts like Martina McBride, Brett Eldredge, Kristian Bush, Charlie Daniels, Thompson Square and more. With every stop from coast to coast, MamaDear carries home with them wherever they go.
MamaDear is an example of the best that Country Music has to offer: soaring vocal harmonies, incredibly talented multi-instrumentalists, captivating lyrics and melodies, and, as a result, some of the best music with which to have the time of your life. Canyon City is the brainchild of Paul Johnson. Although Nashville is filled with many talented songwriters, Paul Johnson stands out as a beacon of quality lyrics, haunting melody, and pure musical emotion. Paul's primary instruments of choice are his smooth vocals, and his precise acoustic or electric guitar. However, Paul does something that many only dream of: create entire albums of music to acclaim. Canyon City regularly draws attentions from the likes of Spotify and Apple Music listeners and curators across the globe.
Paul’s time is typically occupied by the recording and touring of his original music. Outside of this, he is occasionally available to perform an acoustic number during a Wedding or Private event. Paul is often the most talked about wedding ceremony musician due to his uncanny ability to strum the heartstrings of everyone in attendance.

Mr. Raj Pandya, Smruti Pandya, Amit Pandya & Eshna Pandya have performed Indian Music all over the United States and the world. Raj performs incredible vocals along with harmonium, flute, and the keyboards. His wife, Smruti, provides an incredibly complimentary vocal, along with their daughter, Eshna. Their son, Amit, is their foundation, performing live percussion while also ensuring the highest possible live sound quality for each of their audience members. The Pandya Family performs Hindi film music, Navratri Raas-Garba, Wedding Songs, Garba-Raas, Bhajans (Devotional Music), Gazals & Fusion music. They have performed more than 900 concerts in the United States in the last 24 years covering more than 39 states. Many recognize this group as the live band from the scene in the hit movie American Desi. However, they are even more well-known for their amazing reputation of versatility, energy, and authenticity.
